A local MP put it like this: politicians are like buses - you go with the one that's heading closest to the direction you want to go.
You can't wait for the "perfect" bus to arrive. You have to vote for the bus that gets you the closest. If there is no bus, we have to figure out why we don't have one and maybe get a bus to run.
